Customised Balloons
Nothing says “individual” better than customised balloons. Balloons are a tried and tested advertising tool, which have multiple marketing applications across the spectrum of product and corporate visibility – starting with the temporary advert that a handout campaign uses and finishing with the long-lasting store decoration a foil helium balloon can provide.
A custom balloon can be delivered in any colour and finish (foil, latex, matt, gloss, single or multiple colours) and printed with almost every conceivable combination of logo and message. Modern techniques for printing customised balloons allow even the most complex designs to be laid out in advance using sophisticated graphic design (similar to the programmes used by layout designers for magazines and publishing houses). The designs are then prepared for the printing machinery, which produces superb high quality imaging and bright colours on most balloon substrates.
According to the nature of your product, company or promotion, some different printing techniques are used. A special and unique technique is laser printing, which is capable of producing designs in up to five colours on two “sides” of a balloon: so your logo, message or product name will appear once on each side of an uninflated latex balloon. Customised balloons requiring more complicated arrangements of text and image can be created using a 360 degree ” laser“ round printing, which is capable of producing multi colour images on up to four “sides” of a balloon. The images or texts do not have to be the same.
When ordering custom balloons, it’s important to remember that latex (the most common material for balloon printing) and foil (which is used for printing up helium balloons designed for long lasting installation) are not paper. Although most designs will retain faithfulness to their “on screen” appearance (your supplier of customised balloons uses the highest quality Pantone inks, which are an industry standard for faithful colour reproduction), certain combinations of design colour against material colour may result in a slightly different look to the original computer generated design. As with all outsourced ordering, it’s best to talk to the experts about good colour choices for balloon materials. They’ll be able to advise you on the best colour choices for your balloons – the ones that will retain the vibrancy of your logo, image or message. Your customised balloons supplier will also be able to point you in the direction of the right material (latex or foil) for the intended use of your balloons.
