Latex Balloons
Latex balloons are the “classic” promotional item. They work equally well for handout events as well as a high quality decoration because the versatility of the material lends itself excellently to the application of different colours, finishes and printing. Pearl effect latex, with its dramatic shine and deep colour, is perfect for dressing wedding receptions, event hire venues and charity galas; while standard latex is ideal for printing with company logos or messages.
A very positive feature is that latex is also a biodegradable material, produced from sustainable plantations of rubber trees. Your latex balloons supplier is responsible for ensuring the correct sourcing of latex used to make the balloons, which will be contributing significantly to the income of agricultural workers in some of the world’s most deprived regions. Because the latex can be supplied in such a huge range of colours, it’s an ideal and highly successful performer for every promotion. Standard latex balloons are more suitable for “every day” promotions – by which we mean giveaways and handouts featuring a company logo or new product design. There’s a standard wholesale quantity for printed balloons: 250, in single colour designs, or 1,000 in multi colour designs. These are both minimum order quantities – more, of course, can be delivered as necessary.
“Crystal finish” and “pearl finish” latex balloons work extremely well for high class decoration and displays. The crystal latex finish is semi transparent, with a clear shine overlaid; the pearl latex finish, as mentioned earlier, lends a depth and quality to the balloon’s colours that has to be seen to be believed. Ideal, in both cases, for venue dressing and balloon decorations – spectacular displays that can form the centre piece of any event. Latex balloons are temporary: they don’t last for multiple events. As such, they are cheaper and more widely used than the foil alternative.
